Support our Eparchial Humanitarian Drive. All donations will be directed to regional organizations in Ukraine, who support all people in need including refugees fleeing their homes to other parts of Ukraine. The Eparchy is forwarding funds through CNEWA Canada who collaborates closely with local churches and Caritas Ukraine. They supply aid by accessing and delivering food, shelter, medical supplies and providing spiritual and psychological support for those in need.
A generous family from Alberta has pledged to match all donations in support of humanitarian aid in Ukraine up to $500 000. Help us meet this goal. Please donate generously.
You can also donate to Canada Ukraine Foundation at www.cufoundation.ca, which supports the population of Ukraine impacted by foreign attacks.

Announcement on March 31, 2022
As of March 25, 2022, the Eparchy, through its generous donors, has raised over $1.6 million dollars towards Humanitarian Aid for Ukraine. The response has been overwhelming. Bishop David has directed these monies to “follow the people” where the need is greatest. Most funds are going directly to Ukraine through the Catholic Near East Welfare Association (CNEWA) who disburses funds to our church in Ukraine, Caritas Foundation, and other Catholic organizations aiding the displaced families in Ukraine with food, shelter, medical supplies and spiritual support. Donations will also support the Ukrainian people who are fleeing the war to other countries in Europe and those coming to Alberta. To date, over 3.5 million citizens have left Ukraine.
