Baptismal Prep

A child who receives the Sacrament of Baptism in our Tradition, also receives Chrismation (Confirmation) and their first Eucharist.  These three Sacraments together are the 3 Sacraments of Initiation.

Before every Baptism however, it is important to have the family understand and commit themselves to a life with Christ in His holy Church.  This is why we do "Baptismal Prep".  Every few months we hold a group "Baptismal Prep" where parents, God-parents and even Grand Parents can come and learn about who we are as the Church, what we believe, why we do the things we do, and what is involved in the Baptismal Service.

If for some reason you are unable to attend the group session, private Baptismal Prep sessions are available too.
