Liturgical Volunteer Service

Why Volunteer?
Glory Be to Jesus Christ! Honour him by partaking in the Divine Liturgy and following in the footsteps of both the Apostles and our Ukrainian ancestors. Stimulate both your faith and the faith of your family by becoming even more involved in the liturgies. Liturgy is “the work of the people”, and volunteering for liturgical service is a great way for you and your family to become more involved and closer to Christ.  There are many ways you can help, depending on the gifts God has given you and how God calls you to help. Sometimes to find that out, we need to just try and see. Just as with every family home, it takes the participation and assistance of everyone. Our church building is the place where our family gathers to worship together. How do you feel you’re being called to help or give a try? Jesus was sent by God the Father to be the servant of all and to teach us to  serve others in love.  Perhaps you are being called to liturgical service? There has never been a better time to become a member of the liturgical volunteer team.
Liturgical Volunteer Opportunities
  • Volunteers can select to serve at the 8:30am, 10:30am, and 5:00pm liturgical services on Sundays at scheduled intervals
  • We need Rosary leaders, hosting and ushering volunteers, and Epistle readers
10AM Rosary Leader
  • Rosary leaders are responsible for leading the Rosary (Glorious Mysteries) at 10AM on Sundays
  • The reader follows a guide and reads bolded parts while the parishioners pray the non-bolded sections
